I am barking more….
And Mom and Pop are trying to help me understand when my hysterical barking is not really a good thing. They keep saying, “No, Bella, this is a friend. It’s okay for her to come in and visit.” But I can’t help myself, I bark anyway, They don’t want me to not bark when someone is at the door, but they want me to stop when I realize the person is not a threat.
They mentioned it to Lee (that guy that’s coming back next week to groom me) and he told them it is a good sign because it means I am comfortable in my new home and feel a responsibility to protect them. He said it is a phase and may last about a month.
Oh, good! I get to bark hysterically at visitors for the next 28 days!
